Catch the rare live reunion of '90s experimental math-rock legends Faraquet at Neue Zukunft, Berlin. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of their cult LP 'The View From This Tower', this exclusive show is one of only three Central European dates. Expect intricate melodies and sharp dynamics!
Crunch Tapes & Positive Transmitter present: FARAQUET (US / Dischord Records) — live in Berlin Formed in the late ’90s in Washington, DC, Faraquet emerged as one of the most distinctive voices of experimental rock, combining intricate melodies, sharp dynamic shifts, and unconventional song structures. Though their original run was brief, the band left a lasting imprint on the ’90s indie and progressive underground. In 2025, Faraquet return to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their cult LP The View From This Tower, released by Dischord Records. Initially somewhat overlooked, the album has since become a landmark of ’90s experimental rock and is now regarded as one of the key math-rock records, influencing a generation of musicians with its sharp dynamics, intricate playing, and unconventional structures. To mark the occasion, Devin Ocampo, Jeff Boswell, and Chad Molter reunite for their first live performances since 2008. The anniversary tour is limited to just a handful of carefully selected dates. July 25, Faraquet will play Neue Zukunft in Berlin — one of only three Central European shows on this special anniversary tour. Tickets go on sale January 26 at 11:00. Capacity is strictly limited, so don’t miss your chance to see this rare live return. Bandcamp: https://faraquet.bandcamp.com/album/the-view-from-this-tower
