Cinematic, intense, and rich in timbre, it concludes the trilogy following *The Bone Carver* and *Mother-of-Pearl Moon*. The band’s hallmarks remain their evocative lyrics, orchestral guitars, and cinematic songs—complemented by new sounds such as Catherine Graindorge’s violin.
