Skinshape ist das Studioprojekt des britischen Musikers und Produzenten William Dorey. Skinshape ist aus der Liebe zu alter Musik und deren Klang entstanden. Der Sound hat seine Wurzeln in vielen Genres, vor allem aber in Funk, Reggae, Library Music, Psychedelic Rock, afrikanischer Musik und Folk der 1960er und 70er Jahre. William war außerdem Gründungsmitglied der Band Palace (2014-2017) und betreibt seit 2014 sein eigenes Reggae-Plattenlabel namens Horus Records. Seine Live-Band wird sowohl neue als auch alte Werke von Skinshape spielen. Skinshape grew out of a love for old music and the way it sounded. The sound has roots in many genres, but in particular 1960s-70s Funk, Reggae, Library music, Psychedelic Rock, African music and Folk. William was also a founding member of the band Palace (2014-2017) and has been running his own reggae record label called Horus Records since 2014. The live band will be playing Skinshape's works, both new and old. For this event we offer discounted tickets to give people with less money still access to culture.
