Der Sound ist in vielen Genres verwurzelt, vor allem im Funk, Reggae, Library Music sowie in Psychedelic Rock, afrikanischer Musik und Folk der 1960er und 70er Jahre. William war auch Gründungsmitglied der Band Palace (2014-2017) und betreibt seit 2014 sein eigenes Reggae-Plattenlabel namens Horus Records. Die 5-köpfige Live-Band wird sowohl neue als auch alte Werke von Skinshape spielen.
