popanz PREWN w/ THE HOBKNOBS Dienstag, 1. September 2026 Bumann & Sohn, Köln Einlass 19:00, Beginn 20:00 Prewn is the project of Izzy Hagerup, born out of years of songwriting and shaped into one of Western Massachusetts’ most exciting emerging bands. What began as Hagerup’s intimate solo work has expanded into a full lineup with Mia Huggs (bass), Calvin Parent (guitar), and Karl Helander(drums), bringing new weight and dimension to the songs. Known for theirvisceral performances and a sound that balances fragility with fierce intensity, Prewn stands out as a project unafraid to confront heavy themeswith raw honesty and unshakable resolve. https://prewnmusic.bandcamp.com/album/system “To describe the music of The Hobknobs, use the word ‘natural’. And what you will mean is: fitted to itself; essentially, albeit politely, uninterested in whether or not you’re looking. You might think of early rock ’n’ roll and you’ll be thinking of its energetic nonchalance and honest economy minus any sentimentality. Sonically and lyrically, the elements of the songs dovetail showing how they move but giving no temptation to take them apart.” – Karina Gill
