LAIA is a prominent Spanish DJ and producer who has become a vital figure in the underground electronic scenes of Barcelona and Madrid. Originally from Barcelona, she developed her identity within the city's rich vinyl and digging culture before establishing her base in Madrid. Her sound is characterized by a deep technical rigor and a "narrative" approach to mixing, fluidly navigating between the raw, industrial echoes of Birmingham and Detroit techno and the more stripped-back, "groovy" territories of minimal and house.
