Wajang Diskotheque brings an Afro-global musicial expedition to Hamburg. Experience a high-energy mix of Caribbean Disco, Tropical Soul, and Island Funk featuring Soca, Latin, Cumbia, and Reggae. Hosted on Frau Hedi's boat at Landungsbrücken, it's a sweat-inducing journey through Caribbean and Afro-diasporic sounds across the decades.

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 2017 als Underground-Clubnacht in einem versteckten Hinterhof in Belmont, Port of Spain, hat sich die Wajang Diskotheque nicht nur in Trinidad sondern auch international eine beachtlich freshe Reputation aufgebaut. Sie ist nicht nur eine Party, sondern eine „Afro-global Boomsiefication“, eine musikalische Expedition, die verlorene karibische und Afro-diasporische Schätze ausgräbt und Sounds quer durch die Jahrzehnte und Kontinente erkundet.
