Doing it for the love of music, legendary band Fat Freddy's Drop are returning to the stage in 2026 to perform their ground-breaking debut album ‘Based On A True Story’. The 51 dates across Australia, Aotearoa, Europe and UK will be Freddy’s first shows following the sudden death of founding band member Chris ‘MU’ Faiumu. The band is united in its decision to continue with this long-planned tour. ‘Based On A True Story’ was independently released in 2005, an album of 10 fresh slices of future funk, with surprises, fakes & freaky sidesteps. Security - Bag Policy: Large bags including rucksacks are not allowed. There are no facilities to leave large bags or luggage. If you really have to bring a bag - and it's preferable you don't, please make sure it's small. Only one small bag per person is permitted and it must not be bigger than A4 size.
